🗳️ Upcoming Elections & Candidate Filing Dates
California Statewide Direct Primary Election
Date: Tuesday, June 2, 2026
This includes local offices in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
All candidates (regardless of party) appear on one primary ballot. The top two vote-getters move on to the general election.
Voter Registration Deadline: Monday, May 18, 2026
Early & Mail Voting Begins: Monday, May 4, 2026

City of Ontario Special Municipal Election
Date: Tuesday, March 24, 2026
Includes key municipal positions specific to the City of Ontario.

City of Riverside Municipal Elections
Date: Tuesday, June 2, 2026
Ward-specific council seats and other municipal offices will be on the ballot.

Date: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Temecula voters will elect three city council members (Districts 1, 3 & 5).

Location: Riverside County Administrative Center, Riverside
Meeting Frequency: Tuesdays (typically weekly)
