Jennifer Boutelle is the Founder & Executive Producer of The Local Gist, a French Valley–Based Broadcasting & Production Company specializing in new media production & programming. Since launching in 2022, she has led the company’s transformation from a hyperlocal digital magazine into a full-scale media platform producing short-form content for multi-platform streaming that celebrates local stories, small businesses, and community culture across the USA.
Jennifer began her career in media in 2008, steadily working her way through the production world and becoming a line producer in Los Angeles by 2017. After years of building a name for herself in the entertainment industry, she was drawn to the charm of French Valley —reminiscent of her southern roots of Georgia —and saw it as the ideal place to launch her own venture rooted in authenticity and local connection.
Today, The Local Gist is more than just a media company—it’s a creative hub for original storytelling, community broadcasting, and brand development. From original series and social-first campaigns to consulting with local entrepreneurs, Jennifer brings a rare blend of industry experience, creative strategy, and heart to every project.
